What You'll Experience in This Workshop

Dreaming In A Conscious Universe is designed for anyone who senses that dreams hold deeper meaning than our culture typically considers. Across eight modules, you'll move beyond surface-level dream interpretation and into a living, embodied relationship with the quantum field itself through your dreaming process.

Each session builds on the one before. You'll begin by reorienting your understanding of what dreaming actually is — not just something that happens while you sleep, but a continuous, multi-layered process that pulses beneath your waking life. From there, you'll learn practical methods for animating and amplifying dream imagery drawn from Processwork, Jungian psychology, and contemplative traditions. You'll also explore the surprising intersections between dream science and ancient wisdom about the nature of consciousness.

The two open mentorship sessions (Modules 4 and 8) offer space for personalized guidance. Bring your own dreams, questions, and experiences to work with directly in a supportive group setting.

By the end of the course, you'll have a personal toolkit for cultivating what Hélène calls "lucid awareness" — the ability to recognize the dreaming as it moves through your body, your relationships, and the synchronicities of everyday life.

Who Is This Workshop For?

This course welcomes participants at every level of experience with dreamwork. You may be a good fit if:

  • You remember your dreams and want to go deeper with them, but aren't sure how

  • You're drawn to Jungian or Process-Oriented approaches to psychology and inner work

  • You've had powerful, vivid, or recurring dreams and want to understand what they're asking of you

  • You're a therapist, healer, counselor, or coach seeking to integrate dreamwork into your practice

  • You're curious about the relationship between consciousness, dreaming, and quantum perspectives

  • You've experienced non-ordinary states of consciousness and want a grounded framework for exploring them

  • You want to develop a symbolic attitude — seeing the world through the eyes of the “dream maker”, even while awake

No prior experience with Processwork or formal dream analysis is required. A willingness to be curious, open, and engaged is the only prerequisite.

About Your Guide

Hélène V. Ramos, MA, Dipl PW, CMS-CHt, RMT, is a Processwork practitioner, hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, and mentor based in Charlottesville, Virginia, with over 30 years of experience in healing arts and energy work. She holds a Master's degree in Process Oriented Psychology from the Process Work Institute in Portland, Oregon, and is a diplomate of that program. Her approach weaves together Jungian depth psychology, shamanic practice, hypnotherapy, and a lifelong commitment to understanding non-ordinary states of consciousness and the unseen world.

Hélène has a particular gift for helping people build a relationship with their own dreaming process — not by imposing interpretations, but by guiding them to listen to the symbolic language their psyche is already speaking. She brings warmth, humor, deep knowledge, and decades of direct experience to every workshop and session.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this workshop delivered?

All eight sessions are held online via the Processwork Institute platform on Fridays, running from September through November 2026. You can participate from anywhere in the world with a reliable internet connection.

What is the schedule? How long is each session?

The workshop meets for six 2-hour sessions (plus 2 1-hour mentorships) on Fridays from September to November 2026. For specific dates, times, and session length, please contact Hélène directly at helene@heleneramos.com or visit the Processwork Institute website at

Do I need any prior experience with dreamwork or Processwork?

Not at all. The course is designed to meet you wherever you are. Whether you're brand new to working with dreams or have years of experience, the material deepens progressively across the eight modules. Hélène creates a welcoming environment for all levels.

What if I don't remember my dreams?

That's more common than you might think, and it's absolutely not a barrier to participating. The workshop addresses dreaming as a broader process that extends well beyond nighttime dreams — encompassing bodily experiences, waking fantasies, synchronicities, and the symbolic dimension of everyday life. Many participants find that their dream recall naturally improves as they engage with the material.

What is Processwork, and how does it relate to dreamwork?

Processwork (also called Process Oriented Psychology) is a therapeutic and awareness-based approach developed by Arnold Mindell, PhD, a physicist and Jungian training analyst. It expands on Jung's ideas by recognizing that dreams don't just live in the mind — they also manifest in bodily symptoms, relationship dynamics, movement, and spontaneous experiences. In this workshop, Processwork provides the core framework for approaching, unfolding, and embodying dreams rather than simply interpreting them intellectually.

What does "unfolding" a dream mean?

Rather than assigning fixed meanings to dream symbols, unfolding is a Processwork method of staying close to the living energy of a dream image or deeply sensed encounter with the mysterious, letting it reveal its meaning through your direct experience. You might be invited to move like a dream figure, amplify a feeling, or follow a sensory impression to see where it leads. It's an experiential and often surprising process.

Will I need to share my dreams with the group?

Sharing is always optional. The group setting provides a supportive container, and many participants find that witnessing others' dream exploration deepens their own understanding. But you are never required to share anything you wish to keep private.

What does "the conscious universe" refer to in the workshop title?

This part of the course explores philosophical, scientific, and indigenous perspectives on consciousness — the concept that awareness may not simply be contained in the human brain but is instead, a fundamental quality of the universe itself which is mediated by the brain. You'll survey ideas from quantum theory, ancient traditions, and contemporary consciousness research, and consider how dreaming might be a direct interface with this larger field.

Is this workshop a substitute for therapy?

No. While dreamwork can be profoundly healing and the workshop may complement your therapeutic journey, this course is educational and experiential. It is not a therapy group. If you're working through acute trauma or crisis, Hélène recommends having the support of a therapist alongside this work. She also offers individual sessions for those seeking more personalized guidance.

How much does the workshop cost?

For pricing and registration details, please contact Hélène directly at helene@heleneramos.com.

Can I take this workshop if I live outside the United States?

Absolutely. The course is fully online, and Hélène works with clients and students worldwide. As long as the Friday session times work for your time zone, you're welcome to join.

I'm a therapist or healer. Will this workshop support my professional development?

Yes. Many healing professionals find that integrating dreamwork enriches their practice. The methods taught in this course — particularly the Processwork approach to embodying and amplifying dream material — offer practical tools you can bring into clinical, coaching, or healing contexts. If you have questions about how this applies to your specific practice, Hélène is happy to discuss it with you.

How do I register or get more information?

Contact Hélène directly at helene@heleneramos.com or call (434) 466-8951. She's happy to answer any questions and help you decide if this workshop is right for you.
